21 little discoveries i have made in the course of my young adult life

• There is an immensely powerful Christ who dwells in me and a God whose amazing grace continually surrounds me and works wonders in my life.
• The biggest and utmost important achievement in life is unleashing my full potential and striving to be the best of ME
• No matter how old i grow,nothing can ever measure up to my Mother's love, warmth and care.
• No matter how bad things go, how bad they seem in times of despair, gloom and doom..they always come right..yes they may take a while sometimes but eventually they do end up ok.
• There is a reason behind every occurrence in my life regardless of how small and insignificant,how dismal or mellow it is..there is  always a lesson to be gained from it.
• Heartache,failure and rejection however gruesome are in fact great moulders of a braver,stronger and more resilient me.
• One of the greatest investments in life that is sure to yield more than ten-fold, is finding and surrounding oneself with quality friends.
• Love is opening up one's heart despite the head protesting no! Seeing beyond the flaws and imperfections, throwing caution to the wind and wading in full on, baring it all and holding nothing back.
• Money and wealth may make the trade and economic world go around but that is certainly not the be-all and end-all in life..there is so much more to life
• We are often oblivious of how abundantly we have been blessed with the countless little things we take for granted because we have our eyes so stubbornly fixed on money, power, fame and recognition.
• Hatred and resentment are time-consuming, pointless depleting factors of the great person within.
• My background may be where I am from but it most certainly does not define who I am now and where I am headed. Willpower, drive and perseverance are all i need on my journey to success.
• Self-doubt, excuses and procrastination are devious thieves that rob us of our dreams, goals and aspirations.
• Until we overcome fear of rejection, failure, being judged or going against the norm..we can never fully unleash our ultimate potential and put it to use.
• The most terrible sin one can commit, far worse than murder or adultery is changing who you are to better suit someone else's specifications. Not only is this a terrible injustice to yourself, but also a selfish act that deprives your friends, loved ones and those around you of experiencing the wonderful person you truly are.
• Sometimes a stranger will walk into your life, stay a few moments and walk out but make such a great impact that will leave an indelible imprint in your life.
• Sometimes one needs to get it wrong to get it right..perfection is the result of a series of mistakes, faults and downfalls.
• The answer we are looking for often comes from the most unlikely source, sometimes we need to stop looking far and wide and just wait.
• Family, though annoying,insensitive,unfair,inconsiderate at times..always have your best interests at heart and are probably the only ones whose love you are always guaranteed however much you mess up in life.
• I am the loveliest,smartest,hottest,sweetest,brightest,most awesome,wonderful and perfect version of ME ever created. Never before has there been and never will there be another exact replica of ME.
• I am a daughter, a learner,a sister,an aunt,a dreamer,a writer,a lover,a spiritual being,a believer,an optimist,a socialist,a feminist,a child of God..I assume all these roles at one point or another in my life. I am all these and so much more but most importantly..I am ME
