FINDING ME

Finding myself in a world that demands conformity in exchange for acceptance...

struggling to find that which defines me and not what society has churned and moulded me out to be

and psyched me up to want to be.

I strive to be a unique individual amidst hordes of varying characters all vying for  societal recognition and spotlight 

I seek to shine in my own right and by my own standards,

to embrace the beauty, talent,vivacity and potential embedded in me.

because when all is said and done, only i can unleash the full potential and ability inherent in me.

Only once i have learned to love and accept myself for who I am,can I teach society to sit up and take due notice of this star in the making.

Dreaming Big

I dream of a world much bigger than I can fathom

where my dreams do not seem far-fetched

where my dreams are not written off as wishful thinking.

A world where all I aspire to be and do is only a dream away.

A world where I can reach out and grasp at my goals.

I dream of a world where nothing stands between me and everything I yearn for

where obstacles and stumbling blocks are unheard of.

A world where all is within my reach

a world where when all is said and done,

when the hunger for all I desire is satisfied

all I can do, all I want to do, all I will do,

is dream some more...of an even bigger world.
